A full portrait commission will usually require 6 sittings of 2-3 hours each. Oil sketches only require 1-2 sittings. Sittings take place at my London studio or at your home (by agreement).

Having one’s portrait painted is an opportunity to share an intimate experience over a period of time. I encourage my sitters to talk freely and openly about themselves during the process, as this helps me to bring their character through in my work.
